On May 10, Give Kids The World (GKTW) welcomed over 150 volunteers from Louisiana. The group, known as the “Mickey Maniacs,” visited the Village with a ready-for-work attitude. From trash pick-up to face painting, this group made a significant impact on the Village.

After a full morning of activities and volunteerism, the group gathered together to present GKTW President, Pamela Landwirth with an outstanding $70,000 check donation!! In addition, a special tribute was paid to two former Wish Children, also members of the Mickey Maniacs, Brayden and Mary Kate. Both children lost their lives to their illness, but are forever remembered through the efforts of Mickey Maniacs.
