Wish child Kameron and family enjoy a warm welcome at Orlando International Airport.

On Friday, September 21, the Something mAAgic Foundation® and American Airlines partnered to bring 39 families to Give Kids The World. With American Airlines involved, the journey became just as special as the destination. During the 17th annual mAAgicsm flight, the 39 children and their families enjoyed bon voyage festivities in airports in each of their 33 departing cities, connection and arrival celebrations and a huge welcome at Orlando International Airport.

We’d like to extend a very special thanks to the volunteers from American Airlines, American Eagle and American Airlines Federal Credit Union for making these events possible!

On Saturday, mAAgic flight volunteers continued to make a splash by throwing an incredible luau at the pool for all of the families here at the Village. Though a few dark, afternoon rain clouds had started to gather, the sun shone through just as the party got underway.

Families enjoyed carnival games, face painting, snow cones and a huge dance party. Though it was technically the first day of autumn, summer was in full swing by the pool.

A delicious cookout was served by 21 managers from Aramark generously donating their time and resources. We thank Aramark for supporting this event since 2005.

Volunteers from Aramark dish up the tasty cookout.

Thank you, again, to the Something mAAgic Foundation, American Airlines, American Eagle, American Airlines Federal Credit Union, Aramark and everyone else involved for helping the wishes of these 39 families take flight and for providing a memorable event for all of the families here at the Village.
