Things sure have been spirited and spooky around the Village lately. Even the The Nightmare Before Christmas music on the Avenue has been asking, “Boys and girls of every age, wouldn’t you like to see something strange?”

All along the Avenue creepy crawly spiders hang from their webs and a galore of grinning pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colors dot the walkways.

Wouldn’t it be fun to decorate your little corner of the world with the same festive creativity of Give Kids The World?

Well, here’s a quick craft to do just that. You’ll be ready for trick or treaters in no time!

Friendly Spider

This friendly spider is fun and easy to make.

What you’ll need:

Supplies include a Styrofoam ball (cut in half), black paint, glue, scissors, two googly eyes and four black pipe cleaners.

How to make it:

First, paint the Styrofoam ball black.

Next, cut the pipe cleaners in half.

Then, glue the googly eyes onto the Styrofoam ball.

Finally, stick the pipe cleaners into the ball and bend them to look like a spider’s legs.
