Mother’s Day Flower Pot Craft

Craft something extra special for Mom this Mother’s Day with our fun Mother’s Day Flower Pot craft for all ages. Personalize your flower pot with a photo to guarantee a gift that Mom is sure to love!

Materials:

  • Different color construction paper
  • A pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Marker
  • A photo of yourself (optional)

Step 1: Trace and cut out your hand prints from different colored sheets of construction paper.

Step 2: Trace and cut out your footprint from a sheet of green construction paper.

Step 3: Cut 3 pieces of brown paper for branches. Don’t worry about shape because flowers can grow every which way! Now, cut one thicker piece of brown constriction paper to be the trunk of your plant.

Step 4: Cut a circle that is roughly the size of your palm from white paper. This will be the background for your picture.

Step 5: Glue together your green foot cut outs at the heel.

Step 6: Glue your trunk to the middle of the green paper and decorate the top of the trunk with your branches.

Step 7: Glue your hand print cut outs to the branches and trunk for the flowers.

Step 8: Glue your photo circle to the middle of your tree. Once dry, glue your picture in the middle and decorate!
