One year ago today, Give Kids The World Village got even more sparkly. Twinkle Hope – a pink, fun-loving pony from Hasbro’s “My Little Pony” – found a new home at the Village: Twinkle Hope’s Rockin’ Spa!
Originally the La-Ti-Da Spa – located in the Castle of Miracles – the expanded spa has given our visiting children lots of fun makeovers, complete with manicures, face painting, air brush tattoos, and colorful hairstyles. Plus, adults have been able to squeeze in a workout while they’re on vacation in our first-ever G.I Joe Gym.
Whether our families are heading out for a day of fun or just relaxing at the Village, Twinkle Hope’s gives kids the chance to rock bold new looks, walk a red carpet, and take before-and-after photos in a selfie booth.
In the past year, Twinkle Hope’s has seen lots of extraordinary makeovers, in fact, in that time …
• About 20,000 nails were painted
• More than 2,550 airbrush tattoos were applied
• More than 800 faces painted
It’s definitely been a rockin’ year and it was all made possible by our friends at Hasbro, Inc., Target, Florida’s Workers Comp Institute, Inc. and many more helping hands.
