The Official, Authorized and Bunnyized Tale of Give Kids The World Village
(As told by Clayton the Rabbit, Mayor of the Village)

Once upon a time, a man named Henri Landwirth operated a hotel near Walt Disney World. Each year, thousands of children came to Florida to bask in the warm sunshine and enjoy all of the fun things to do. Many of them stayed at Henri’s hotel.
One day, Henri learned of a special little girl who also wanted to come to Florida to play. But the little girl was very sick. For her family to come to Florida was an incredible challenge. Henri wanted to help. He said the little girl could come and stay at his hotel. Then Henri learned that more children wanted to come. So Henri went to all of his friends and asked them to help him bring these special children to Florida. Soon, families from all around the world were arriving in Orlando and had the opportunity to meet Mickey Mouse and visit Walt Disney World.
Henri knew that all these children needed a special place to stay. Henri set out on a search to find the land on which to build his Village. And when he went looking, he found me, Clayton the Rabbit. I brought him to the land where he would build the 70-acre resort, Give Kids The World Village. Soon, Villas for the children and the families sprung up everywhere. The children started coming from all over. I loved them. I became so close with many of the children that they elected me Mayor for life. Can you believe that? I’ve witnessed so much magic at the Village. Some may even call them miracles.

In the center of the Village, we cut away some overgrown vines, and found a magical castle hidden beneath, filled with magic mirrors, enchanted wishing wells, and a talking grandfather clock. On another night, a little boy hid his last gingerbread cookie beneath a stone near the Castle for the next day. When the sun broke the next morning, an entire Gingerbread House had risen in that spot, filled with bountiful treats to delight children of all ages.Give Kids The World built this Village just for you.
