Regular Group Opportunities
Are you a member of a group that would like to volunteer on a regular or ongoing basis? Give Kids The World has many companies, civic organizations, social clubs, and church groups and even groups of friends that volunteer throughout the year on a regular basis or even just once in awhile. Volunteer groups are typically scheduled in a variety of areas throughout the Village including food service, entertainment, administration, guest services, and more.
How can your group start volunteering with Give Kids The World?
- Determine how often your group can commit to volunteering
- Schedule a Volunteer Orientation for the group by contacting Volunteer Services. You and your group may attend Volunteer Orientation at the Village or a Volunteer Services representative can visit your organization.
- All group volunteers must complete a volunteer application.
- Ensure all volunteers meet the Volunteer Criteria.
- Volunteers must be at least 12 years old.
- For groups with volunteers under the age of 18, we require 1 chaperone for every 4 minors.
- Parents or Legal Guardians must accompany volunteers under the age of 16 at all times.
- Parents or Legal Guardians must attend volunteer orientation with any volunteer under the age of 18.
- All Volunteers must complete a volunteer application. All adults will be screened through a background check process.
- Determine what size group you can rely on regularly to fulfill the volunteer role.
