Celebrating 40 Years of Joy & Gratitude
For 40 years, Give Kids The World Village has been a place where joy takes center stage, where families supporting a child with a critical illness can escape to a world filled with hope, laughter and light. As we enter this milestone anniversary, we honor the tens of thousands of courageous families who have inspired us, the compassionate community who has lifted us, and the visionary founder whose belief in kindness started it all.

Every family who has walked through our gates has shaped who we are. Every smile, every laugh, every wish fulfilled is woven into the fabric of the Village.
For four decades, more than 200,000 families have experienced the wonder of Give Kids The World Village—making this anniversary a celebration of lives touched, memories created, and hope renewed.

This anniversary also celebrates the extraordinary vision of our founder, Henri Landwirth, a Holocaust survivor who transformed his own painful childhood into a mission of love. His belief was simple and profound: Every child deserves joy. Every family deserves hope.
In tribute to his life and legacy, we are proud to debut What Henri Gave The World, an original hand animated short feature capturing his journey from darkness to light—and the incredible Village that grew from his compassion. Henri's legacy continues to guide us as we dream boldly about what the next 40 years can hold.
A Year of Celebration, Reflection & Connection
Throughout 2026, the Village will come alive with special 40th Anniversary events, installations and storytelling moments that bring our theme to life across the entire organization:
Founder's Day

Join us as we celebrate the past, embrace the present, and illuminate the future—together.
