Happy #NationalCrayonDay

Let’s get creative and add some color to our social media feeds. Grab some crayons, paint, or crafts and create anything that makes you think of Give Kids The World. Some of our friends on Facebook got a jump start with their art earlier this week and we’re excited to share what they created with you.

The Enchanted Carousel: Home to 22 hand-carved animals, two of which are wheelchair-accessible characters
“The orange T-Rex at ‘Dino golf’ and his red golf ball and daddy’s green golf ball.” – Wish Mom Heather
Keaton’s Korral: A venue at the Village where kids of all ages and abilities can saddle up and ride a horse every Wednesday and Saturday morning
A colorful rainbow bringing happiness and joy just like the happiness our families find at the Village
Characters and Ice Cream: Mayor Clayton, Ms. Merry and the rest of the Village’s characters love unlimited ice cream too
Tuck-ins: Nothing beats being tucked into bed by Mayor Clayton at the end of a long day filled with fun
“Diamonds aka Stars” – Wish Mom Kristee
“The carousel, he rode the lion and daddy rode the pig. The brown is Old Elmer or the tree that sleeps all day.” – Wish Mom Heather
Slushy at the pool: While making a splash at the Park of Dreams pool, families can cool off with treats from Noah’s Nooks snack bar

Village designer John Carillo created a special message of hope for you today, too!

These works of art show how our Give Kids The World family is united by the many happy memories, moments of joy, and enduring sense of hope found in our colorful Village. Whether you are an alumni family, volunteer, staff, or supporter we’d love to see what reminds you of Give Kids The World. Share your drawings with us on social media using #ColorHopeChallenge.
