How-To Guide to Your Favorite Virtual Party Crafts

We’ve been busy bringing the magic of the Village to you through virtual Facebook Live parties and events. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and check out some of the crafts we’ve been making at our parties that you can make at home.

Winter Wonderland

Jingle Justin hosted our first-ever virtual party with you and even shared with all of you how to make your own snowflake. You can celebrate Winter Wonderland every Thursday night at home when you make this craft.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Paper and scissors

Ice Cream Party

Neo-PAUL-Itan showed you all how to make his famous sundae, a banana split with a twist. Now, you can create this SWEET treat from home with this guide.

Here’s what you need:

Ice Cream Dish, Oreos, gummy worms, banana, ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, and cherries

1. Take some Oreos and place them in a plastic bag and crush them up to make your “dirt” base and place them at the bottom of your dish

2. Add in your gummy worms by placing them around the edges of the dish

3. Cut your banana in half down the center and place it in on top of your “dirt” base

4. Add your ice cream: Paul used Strawberry and Cookies & Cream, but you can choose your favorites for your sweet creation

5. Toppings time: chocolate sauce, whipped cream, sprinkles and cherries always make for a good ice cream sundae

6. ENJOY

We’d love to see your ice cream creations – Share them with us on social media using #GiveHopeToWishes

Once Upon a Village

Prince Justin and his friends Aqua Allison and Pirate Paul walked you through the Once Upon a Village story and helped you create your own storybook along the way.

Here’s what you need:

Paper (3-4 sheets), and something to draw with (markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc.)

Now here comes the fun part. Stack your sheets of paper together and fold them in half just like you would a book. It’s now time for your storybook to be filled. Based on the story that Prince Justin shared, each page has a theme. Let’s get creative.

1. Draw your favorite sea creature in honor of Aqua Allison

2. Now that you’ve met Pirate Paul, draw your very own treasure map

3. Next up, design your own knight shield

4. Last but not least, draw your own castle

Share your storybook with us using #GiveHopeToWishes. We’d love to see what you make.

Village Idol

Host Paul was SO excited to cheer on all the amazing talents he saw during Village Idol. He even showed you how to make a noise maker to cheer even louder. Why don’t you give it a try? Here’s how you do it.

Here’s what you need:

Paper, tape, rice/pasta/beans etc.

1. Fold your paper in half

2. Tape along the edges to form a pouch but don’t forget to leave one side open

3. Decorate your noise maker and don’t forget to include #GiveHopeToWishes

4. Fill your pouch with rice, pasta, beans etc. but be sure to leave room and not fill it all the way up

5. Close that last side with tape

6. Cheer on your friends

Surprise Party

Every Tuesday we get to celebrate Mayor Clayton’s birthday! Our surprise party was to celebrate anything you wanted: friends, an anniversary, a birthday and more. Make a card and tell us what you love.

Here’s a card for Mayor!

CANDYLAND

Allison helped bring CANDYLAND to your screens at home. Now you can create royal jewelry to remember the party. You can make your creation into a bracelet, necklace or even a crown.

Here’s what you need:

String or shoelace, and cheerios, fruit loops or life savers.

Take what you are using as your string and thread your cereal or candy through to create your royal jewelry. Once you finish threading your jewels, tie it around your neck, wrist or head and wear it proud. We’d love to see your beautiful creations – share them on social media with #GiveHopeToWishes.
