The Village Hosts President’s Volunteer Service Awards

Last Wednesday, 25 Village volunteers received the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award for their work supporting Give Kids The World and the children it serves. The national award celebrates and honors volunteers who have logged at least 4,000 hours volunteering at nonprofits across the country. That’s the equivalent of working 500, eight-hour days. Thank You for 4 Million Hours!

At the core of our Village is a group of people who bring their hearts for service to the critically ill children and families we serve. Our incredible volunteers fill nearly 1,600 volunteer shifts a week and, just recently, they reached an unbelievable milestone: 4 million hours of service. (click for more)
