A Grandfather’s Gift

Bradley’s Wish Journey: Finding Hope in a Splash Pad

Bradley is a vibrant child who lives in the United Kingdom. Born with cystic fibrosis, he was granted a wish through Rays of Sunshine, one of our wish granting partners based in the UK. Without hesitation his one true wish was to visit a “splash park and giant pool.” (click for more)

Over the past few weeks we have watched thousands of graduates celebrate one of the biggest milestones of their life virtually. Today we celebrate all the graduating wish kids who have called Give Kids The World home. And while 2020 has brought challenges, we know these kids and their families have battled through more than most ever will. Brayden’s Express Graduates from High School

Our hearts swelled when we learned Dylan carried Brayden with him on their graduation day, tucked inside his cap. Fourteen years after their trip, we were honored to be able to contribute in our own way to such a momentous celebration. Wish families stay at the Village for one week, but they become our family forever. (click for more)



Finding Hope: Wish Kid Lauren

I was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Wilm’s tumor when I was two. In 2001, my family and I stayed at Give Kids the World as part of my wish trip after a year of battling cancer. Although I was extremely young when my wish took place, I grew up with an amazing photo album that captured my memories and experiences! My wish trip gave my family a sense of normalcy and much needed time to breathe after a year of such extreme stress. (click for more)
