Vice President of Talent & Culture

Sara Valentine serves as Vice President of Talent & Culture at Give Kids The World Village, where she leads human resources and volunteer services strategy in support of the Village's mission to create magical, cost-free wish vacations for children with critical illnesses and their families. With more than 18 years of experience across nonprofit, hospitality, entertainment, public service, healthcare, advertising, and privately owned business sectors, Sara brings deep expertise in talent strategy, culture, leadership development, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational change.

Prior to joining Give Kids The World, Sara held senior human resources leadership roles with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and Colonial Williamsburg Resorts. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from American InterContinental University and is pursuing her Executive MBA at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Sara holds multiple professional certifications, including PHR, SHRM-CP, CCP, OSHA 511, and DDI Facilitator, and completed the Women's Strategic Leadership Program through Yale School of Management.

Sara has been recognized for her leadership and contributions to the human resources profession, including being named one of the Orlando Business Journal's Top People to Know in 2025, receiving recognition through Covington Who's Who, and being nominated for Women of the Year in Human Resources.

Sara is also the creator of the H.E.A.R.T. Leadership Framework — Hear, Empathize, Acknowledge, Respond, and Thank — a practical leadership model focused on building trust, connection, accountability, and belonging.
